After letting me read it twice I'm blinded by this story is true that at times you think it feels to know where the writer will pull in the next and leaves you some time too reminiscent of his other four novels but only occurs in small proportions, as well as flashes that come away without doing more harm.
The storyline is very original in my opinion and even has some topicazos as the place the action in the postwar years, with a typical trio of characters such as the poor fellow & OverhaulI, ny sufferer but positive and strong until the end of his days (Fermín) the hero by accident and ignorance (Daniel) and the villain who comes to a moment in which neither é , l, neither you nor anyone else knows why he wants to kill everyone (Fumero) I think it's the weakest part of the story, I think I got excited while Zafón invented the trauma Fumero and secrets while he was away ... apart from that, the mysteries around the figure of Julian Carax and his book is very appealing.
There are some characters that are fillers such as Clara but hey, as you read the book and you see it appearfeel a bit like it does not affect either good or bad, in fact, the watchmaker is most striking.

In short, is a novel very entertaining and fairly well developed at the time of tying all the threads and stories that will unravel all the time thing that I find one of its strengths because after deploy the mess that is mounted Zafón to see who is smart he is able to resolve and manage everything to look good, not all writers are able to finish in good shape a story in such detail intertwined, but Zafón succeeds leaving a good taste in your mouth when you close the cover of the book.
you hooked on the first steps; Page when you talk about the cemetery of forgotten books and you can not leave until you've read it all in one breath. In two days I read it ^ _ ^
